We’re looking for a Physics-AI Applications Engineer to join our team. This is a customer-facing, technical sales and consulting role, focused on proving value through hands-on solution delivery and real-world engagements.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct technical discovery sessions with clients’ engineering and operations teams
  • Identify high-impact use cases aligned to business and operational goals
  • Convert simulation models into physics-informed AI models
  • Design and implement AI modeling and optimization workflows using Geminus’ Physics-AI platform
  • Rapidly iterate and validate solutions using real customer data and workflows
  • Quantify and communicate business value through measurable KPIs
  • Collaborate with software engineering to integrate models into production environments
  • Develop and deliver technical documentation, training, and onboarding materials
  • Support the transition from Proof-of-Value projects to scalable deployments
  • Act as a trusted advisor to technical stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Represent Geminus at conferences, deliver demos, and contribute to technical publications

What We’re Looking For

  • Advanced degree (PhD or MS) in Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field
  • Deep experience with computational modeling and physics-based simulation (e.g., CFD, process simulation, EMT, mechanical integrity, dynamic systems)
  • 3+ years of professional engineering experience beyond academics
  • Familiarity with modeling & simulation platforms like AspenTech, Siemens, or Ansys
  • Proficiency in Python and common ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Strong understanding of the ML model lifecycle from development to deployment
  • Prior experience in technical consulting, solution delivery, or pre-sales engineering
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with client-facing experience
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Startup or early-stage experience is a plus
  • Ability to travel (~15–20%, mostly regional)
  • U.S. work authorization required
