We’re looking for a Physics-AI Applications Engineer to join our team. This is a customer-facing, technical sales and consulting role, focused on proving value through hands-on solution delivery and real-world engagements.

What You’ll Do

Conduct technical discovery sessions with clients’ engineering and operations teams
Identify high-impact use cases aligned to business and operational goals
Convert simulation models into physics-informed AI models
Design and implement AI modeling and optimization workflows using Geminus’ Physics-AI platform
Rapidly iterate and validate solutions using real customer data and workflows
Quantify and communicate business value through measurable KPIs
Collaborate with software engineering to integrate models into production environments
Develop and deliver technical documentation, training, and onboarding materials
Support the transition from Proof-of-Value projects to scalable deployments
Act as a trusted advisor to technical stakeholders and decision-makers
Represent Geminus at conferences, deliver demos, and contribute to technical publications

What We’re Looking For

Advanced degree (PhD or MS) in Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field
Deep experience with computational modeling and physics-based simulation (e.g., CFD, process simulation, EMT, mechanical integrity, dynamic systems)
3+ years of professional engineering experience beyond academics
Familiarity with modeling & simulation platforms like AspenTech, Siemens, or Ansys
Proficiency in Python and common ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
Strong understanding of the ML model lifecycle from development to deployment
Prior experience in technical consulting, solution delivery, or pre-sales engineering
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with client-facing experience
Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments
Startup or early-stage experience is a plus
Ability to travel (~15–20%, mostly regional)
U.S. work authorization required
