Applications Engineer

About Geminus

Geminus, named after the twin star constellation Gemini, makes software for creating highly intelligent digital twins of industrial products and systems. By using our software our customers make more reliable, productive and sustainable products and plants.

We were founded on the notion that existing digital twin technologies like AI are too difficult to use, too resource intensive, and too inflexible to meet the scope and scale of challenges faced by industrial companies today.

We believe that technology should be both powerful and bend to the will of the user, enabling even the non-technical to do dramatically more with significantly less data. Our novel approach to AI and digital twins does just this.

We are high achievers, builders and lifelong learners driven by a passion to help our customers adapt to a fast-changing world.

About the Role

We are seeking an Applications Engineer to join our customer success team. In this role, you will lead technical engagements with the world’s most innovative industrial companies and deliver model-based solutions that dramatically improve their design and operational productivity.

You will operate throughout the customer lifecycle – from pre-sales to onboarding to scale-up – applying your technical expertise and aptitude for untangling complexity to create robust, scalable digital twin solutions with the Geminus platform.

As an Applications Engineer, you will:

  • Be the technical partner to sales, understanding customer needs, creating and presenting technical solutions, managing product evaluations and resolving objections.
  • Lead customers through onboarding processes and deployment of the Geminus platform and modeling solutions.
  • Develop platform enhancements and customizations as value-add services.
  • Deliver product and workflow training.
  • Drive technical execution of strategic projects with partners in energy, semiconductor, and industrial automation.
  • Advocate customers’ needs in relation to product priorities and work alongside our development team to prototype and test product capabilities.
  • Manage relationships with the technical stakeholders within our customers, assuring success, satisfaction and cultivating them for continued growth.

This position is based in the United States. Preferred locations include San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, and Chicago. Remote locations will be considered.
